研究概要

複雑な現象を捉えるために有効な非線形モデル,数理モデルの構築とその評価法の開発を目的として,本年度は以下のような研究実績を上げた.1.データから非線形構造を有効に抽出するための統計手法の開発を目的として,B-スプライン,階層型ニューラルネットワークに基づく非線形回帰モデルについて研究した.これらの非線形モデルの評価規準を情報量の観点から研究し,種々のモデルの比較を可能とする手法を提案した.2.生存時間データの分析手法について研究を行い,線形性の仮定を必要としない方法としてMantel-Haenszel型によるハザード比の推定法を開発し,これを一般化した.3.偏微分方程式およびそれから派生する問題の厳密解を計算機による数値計算によって捉えるための数学的理論と計算アルゴリズムの開発について研究を進めた.今年度は,(1)変分不等式の解に対する数値的検証法の定式化と数値例,(2)高次多項式近似の最良誤差評価定数の算定などの研究結果を得た.4.無限プラントル数ブシネスク方程式に対して,混合型有限要素スキームを提案し,その解の収束性,誤差評価を示した.さらに,流体中に置かれた物体の抗力係数の数値計算に誤差評価を与え,球の正確な抗力係数を求めた.
5.粘性流体中の渦管の運動速度を計算するための高次漸近展開法を開発し,粘性の効果で渦輪の半径が拡がることを明らかにした.非粘性流体中の渦糸に対する非線形発展方程式を導出し,これが完全可積分系と密接な関係があることを見出した.6.非線型時系列モデルの漸近理論の開発のため,Chaos力学系,その初期値依存性を定量化するLyapunov Exponent,Markov Chainの既約性等について研究した.
