研究概要

本年は、安定化ジルコニアの熱拡散率を測定した。測定圧力は1GPa、温度は350-1600Kである。この安定化ジルコニアの化学組成はCaO:8%、ZrO_2:92%であり、比重は4.59x10^3kg/m^3である。測定には円筒対称系でのオングストローム法を用いた。シグナルの正弦波の周期は4秒と2秒である。測定結果では、350Kから800Kまでは熱拡散率は温度と共に1.4x10^<-6>m^2/sから9x10^<-8>m^2/s減少した。これは格子伝導の特徴であり、この温度領域では、主な熱輸送メカニズムは格子伝導であることが分かる。800K以上では、熱拡散率は温度と共に上昇する。これは輻射伝導の特徴である。常圧下で測定した文献値(Rudkin etal.)に比べると輻射伝導の効果が顕著である。これは封圧によって結晶粒界がくっつき、輻射の散乱が減少したためと考えられる。また、絶対値自身もRudkin et al.より50%以上おおきく、Rudkin et al.の測定では、余分な熱抵抗の影響が入っていると考えられる。今回決定した熱拡散率と比熱・比重の値から熱伝導率を計算すると2.6-4.2W/mKとなる。この値は、低温ではマグネシアの1/10、高温では1/3である。膳温度領域を通じてカンラン石と同じ程度である。
