交流用超伝導ケ-ブル導体の安定性向上と応用のための基礎的研究

研究概要

本年度は最終年度であり、次の3つについて主として検討を行い、本研究のまとめとした。
1.超伝導導体の過渡安定性評価:高安定な交流用超伝導導体の開発を目指し昨年度まで金属系の超伝導線材を対象として素線断面構成の影響などを明確にしてきたが、近年の高温超伝導線材開発の進展に伴い交流超伝導機器の研究開発の対象が低温金属系から高温酸化物へ移行している。そこで、本研究においても高温超伝導線材(Bi系線材とY系線材)に関する過渡安定性およびコイルの安定性評価について実験と数値解析に基づく検討を行い、金属系との特性の違いを明らかにするとともに、コイル設計の基準・指標を明確にすることができた。
2.磁気遮へい型超伝導限流器の動作特性評価:系統故障時の過電流抑制用として、バルク超伝導円筒体を用いた磁気遮へい型超伝導限流器の試作開発を行っている。本年度は、バルク超伝導円筒体の磁気遮へい特性の評価実験と小型モデル限流器の動作特性評価実験を行った。また、バルク超伝導体を含む変動磁界解析のための有限要素法に基づく数値解析プログラムの開発を行った。この際必要となるバルク超伝導体の熱および電磁的材料特性(V-I特性)の測定も行った。数値解析により磁気遮へい特性およびモデル限流器の評価実験結果をうまくシミュレーションすることができ、これにより材料特性の影響を明確にすることができた。
3.垂直円筒型短一次超伝導リニア誘導モータの試作・実験:本年度は、試作装置による検討によって昨年度までに得られた知見をもとに、まず特性改善として、一次超伝導巻線の励磁電流の最適化を行い、トルク特性や無効電力補償特性などを向上させることに成功した。また、クエンチ(常電導転移)検出・保護装置についても実機運転を想定し、クエンチ事故時でも連続運転が可能なシステムの試作・開発に成功した。
