有機金属重縮合法による電子・光機能性剛直直線状π共役高分子の合成

研究概要

本研究は有機金属錯体を用いたジハロゲン化芳香族化合物の脱ハロゲン化重縮合等により、頭尻ミクロ結合の制御された新規な剛直直線状π共役高分子を合成し、電子・光特性に及ぼす効果を総合的に解析し、優れた機能、特性を有するπ共役高分子を合成することを目的とする。本年度は2,6-キノキサンリン(2,6-Qx)@kaや、5,8-キノキサンリン(5,8-Qx)@ka及び2、8位に置換基の導入した5,8-Qx(R^1,R^2)をモノマーとして、有機金属C-Cカップリング反応によりπ共役高分子を合成した。これらのポリマーは強い電子受容性を示し、容易に化学的あるいは電気化学的還元を受けて色調変化を伴って、半導体材料へと変換されることがわかった。溶解性、紫外可視吸収スペクトルの吸収位置、蛍光強度、そして電気化学的還元電位はP(5,8-Qx)タイプのポリマーでは置換基の種類により、また、2,6-Qxや5,8-Qxと結合位置により制御できることが明らかとなった。P(5,8-Qx)側鎖への芳香族置換基の導入は発光ダイオードへの応用可能な強い蛍光強度を示すことが明らかとなり、これらの結果は一連のポリマーが電子輸送材料として有効であることを示すものである。
