研究概要

非線形解析学と力学系の研究において、本年度は以下のよつな実績を得た。
いくつかの非線形縮小写像族の不変集合について、数列空間の商空間の性質を用いて位相的な特傲付けをした[1,4,16]。セルオートマトンの極限集合を、ある種の遷移規則について、定常的になるもの、周期的なもの、カオス的なもの、などのクラス分けを行い、さらにセルオートマトンの極限集合の存在について、作用素に対する不変集合の立場から研究した。線形作用素の場合のみならず、非線形作用素の場合についても考え、極限集合が存在するための、いくつかの十分条件を求めた[3,5,14]。一般化高木クラスのボックス次元も求めた[6,15]。物理現象や経済現象におけるノイズのモデルの一つである正規型の確率過程の滞在時間について、非線形な正規化のもとでの関数型極限定理を証明した[7,8]。C*代数の自己共役作用素でスペクトル密度が半(楕)円状の密度を持つ作用素(semicircular element)の特徴付けを非可換確率空間に基づいて研究し、非線形作用素への研究の足がかりを得た[11,20,21]。フラクタルな側面を持つ有界なシリンダー上で熱作用素に対する熱2重層ポテンシャルを定義し、その境界挙動を調べた[9,10,19]。
力学系に関しては、z^2+cのタイプのJulia集合について、ある同値関係を導入し、cの値と、円周上のlaminationとの対応付けを行った[2,17]。大学院生による研究として、実数上の写像(skew tent maps)の傾きのパラメータによる力学系の性質の違いから、パラメ-夕空間を代数曲線により分割し、吸引的k-周期軌道を持つ領域、カオス区間を持つ領域等を対応させた。さらに、カオス区間をもつパラメータ領域を、くり込みの手法を用いて詳しく研究した[22,23]。
