統計的ブロック計画の頑健性とその構成法の研究

研究概要

実験計画法・組合せ論の分野に位置づく今回の研究対象の配置は多種にわたる。それらは釣合い型不完備ブロック計画(BIBD)、組分け型ブロック計画(GD)、分散釣合い型ブロック計画(VBD)、効率釣合い型ブロック計画(EBD)、一部実施要因計画(FFD)、均斉配列(BA)、直交配列(OA)、2項釣合い型ブロック計画(BBD)、分解可能計画、巣型計画とフレイムなどである。研究の目的は、次の3つの主問題
1. 上述の配置・配列の新しい構成法の導出と組合せ論的性質の解明;
2. いくつかの処理に対応した観測値がすべて欠測したとき、効率の落ち具合に関して、元の配置の頑健性の検討;
3. 頑健な配置の構成法の導出
を組織として多角的に研究することである。
当研究は平成9・10年度の2年間で遂行した。1年目の昨年度は、分担者各々が研究課題について全体の研究テーマを見据えながら研究を行い、2年目の今年度は、総括の意味でも昨年度の研究結果を踏まえ、下記の計画に沿って研究を進めた。なお、景山は代表者として、すべての研究課題に対応した。
1. 分解可能または巣型なBIBD、GDのそれぞれの新しい構成法の導出に、BIBDやフレイムなどを再帰的に用いる。
2. 上記1の目的を、多元環、体論を用いて考察する。
3. BIBD、拡張型BIBD、VBDでいくつかの処理が欠測したときの効率の変化を、元の計画の頑健性の立場から調べ、その頑健性を与えるような実験配置の構成法を考察する。
4. 頑健な配置の探究を計算機を用いて可能とするアルゴリズムを開発する。
この研究班員は全員同じ教室に所属しているので、随時研究計画の進展状況を確認できた。各分担者は互いに協力して問題点を研究し、さらに、分担者以外の研究者と議論するために、小規模な会合をもち研究情報交換を行った。このため、研究経費は、研究打ち合わせ旅費と研究成果発表の旅費が相当部分を占めた。また研究資料の調査等の研究補助に大学院学生2名の協力も得た。特に、研究計画と研究結果のレビューを受けるため平成10年11月にアメリカ合衆国イリノイ大学(シカゴ)を訪問し有意義な研究評価と示唆を得、それを更なる研究結果導出につなげることができた。
このように我々の研究対象の配置は様々であったが、それらを順序を決めて考察するのではなく、これらの組合せ構造の相互関連性を充分に意識して随時対象計画を選ぶ方法を取った。2年目は特にまとめることも念頭にした体系的考察を行った。
