外磁場中のGinzburg-Landau方程式の研究

研究概要	磁場の中にある超電導体のモデルとして知られているGinzburg-Landau方程式系及びその時間発展系は、1960年代から提唱されているが、3次元での数学的解析的研究は1980年代後半から、定常問題に対して始まった。この定常問題ではパラメータと外部磁場の強さによって解の振舞いが劇的に変化することが期待されているが、その方向での理論的研究は現在ほとんどなされていない。本研究の目的の一つは、この解の振舞に関する問題を理論、数値解析の両面から考察し超電導のモデルを改良しそれを解析することである。本研究年度では、笠井、石渡、井戸川らと共に、定常状態の考察としてMeissner効果の数学的解析を考えた。Meissner効果は超電導の特有の性質であり、物理的にはLondon方程式と言われる近似方程式から説明されている。しかし、Ginzburg-Landau方程式とLondon方程式の関係は数学的に厳密な意味では解析されておらず、また、Ginzburg-Landau方程式の数値シミュレーションでは、実験的に見られる浸入長よりオーダーがはるかに大きい。そこで、Meissner効果を巨視的に満たすような拘束条件つきのエネルギー汎関数の最小化問題を、ペナルティー法を用いて調べ、自明解でない解の存在定理を得た。次に、笠井と時間依存のGinzburg-Landau方程式とMaxwell方程式の連立方程式の初期値・境界値問題の研究に従事し、その弱解及び強解の存在定理及び強解の一意性定理を得た。これらの結果の多くは、初めて確立されたものであるが、その一部は従来知られていた結果を著しく改良したものにもなっている。さらに、大谷らの協力を得てそれらを非線形半群理論の枠組で扱い、存在定理のより精緻な結果を得た。
