研究概要	フラーレンアニオン種を光励起することで、更に電子供与能力が増加し、反応し得る電子受容体の選択の幅が増し、より多様なフラーレン誘導体の合成が可能となると考えられる。本研究は、フラーレンをナフタレンラジカルアニオンを用いて化学的に電子移動還元して得られたフラーレンジアニオン、トリアニオンの電子供与能力を光励起により著しく高めることで、反応し得る基質の種類を増し、これまでに無い全く新たな物質変換手法を開発することを目的とする。また、熱反応と光反応におけるフラーレンアニオン種とハロゲン化アルキル、ハロベンゼン類の反応性の差を利用することで、C_<60>骨格へのフェニル基およびアルキル基の位置選択的導入を試みた。 (1)フラーレン類の光励起状態の性質レーザーフラッシュフォトリシス法を用い、ベンゾニトリル中でフラーレン類の光励起を行い、反応中間体の同定のために過渡吸収スペクトルの観測を行なった。(2)フラーレン類の光反応機構フラーレン類と種々の濃度のハロベンゼン類やハロゲン化アルキルとの光反応の量子収率を基に反応速度定数を決定した。この反応速度定数の値をレーザーフラッシュフォトリシス法により直接決定したフラーレンの光励起種とハロベンゼン類やハロゲン化アルキルとの反応速度定数と比較することで、光反応における光励起種の果たす役割について明らかにした。(3)フラーレン類の光反応による新規フラーレン誘導体の合成熱反応と光反応におけるフラーレンアニオン種とハロゲン化アルキル、ハロベンゼン類の反応性の差を利用して異種官能基付加体フラーレンの合成を行った。
