視聴覚の感性と対応する大脳半球の動的機能解明

研究概要

聴覚環境において提案された音場評価のための聴覚-大脳機能のモデルに基づき、自己相関関数及び相互相関関数に含まれるファクターと音場の主観的属性との関係を解析した。さらに視環境において時間的に変化する環境の心理的好ましさに関する知見を得るとともに、聴覚と同様のモデルが適用できるかどうかを検証するための実験を行った。詳細は以下の通りである。
1. 聴覚環境
(1) 聴覚-大脳機能のモデルに基づき、1)反射音に対する演奏者のプリファレンス、2)残響時間に対するプリファレンスの個人差及び残響感、3)反射音の時間的ゆらぎに対するプリファレンス、4)単音節の音声明瞭度が音源及び音場の自己相関関数のファクターによって予測できること、見かけの音源の幅(ASW)が両耳間相互相関関数のファクターによって予測できることを明らかにした。
(2) 単一反射音を付加した音楽を提示して連続脳波を導出し、α波の自己相関関数を解析したところ、音源のランニング自己相関関数の(τ_e)_<min>によって得られる最適遅れ時間を示す部分でα波のτ_eが最も長くなることを明らかにした。
2. 視環境
(1) 風に揺れる楠の葉の映像を自己相関関数、相関次元、相互相関関数を用いて解析するとともに、揺れの好ましさに関する心理実験を行い、自己相関関数のファクターにより予測できることを明らかにした。
(2) 倍音のみで構成される音刺激を提示した際基本周波数が知覚されるミッシングファンダメンタル現象について、光の点滅刺激を用いた場合にも同様に基本周波数が知覚されることを明らかにした。
(3) 垂直または水平方向に正弦波状に運動する刺激の周期を変化させてプリファレンス実験を行い、周期約1秒のときに最もプリファレンスが高くなることを明らかにした。
