研究概要	本年度は、"高次機能調和材料"として以下に示す材料開発を行い、又、それを実現するためのプロセッシングの開発を行った。材料創成グループとそれを実現するための原子・分子材料プロセッシンググループが協力して研究を推進した。材料創成グループは、高次機能調和材料の達成目標に沿って、生体指向高感度センサ・メモリ材料開発グループ、エネルギー・環境調和材料開発グループ、医療・高齢化ナノ材料開発グループから構成され、原子・分子プロセッシンググループは、特殊なプロセス技術、測定技術、物質設計技術のグループから構成された。〔生体指向高感度センサ・メモリ材料グループ〕 1)多機能でフレキシブルな超五感センサ、脳型メモリへむけて、光/強誘電体及び光/磁性体を積層した情報伝達機能調和材料を創成した〔川合〕。2)センサ表面を機能材料によって化学的に修飾し、生体情報の2次元可視化を行った〔岩崎〕。3)Mnを含むInAs多層構造の形成、T1系半導体の一層の広波長域化、誘電体・磁性体酸化物上へのGaN系半導体の形成条件を確立した〔権田〕。4)量子細線レーザの試作を行い、選択ドープ量子細線の電子伝導機構を調べた〔中島〕。5)ボルフィリン環を化学修飾することによって、高性能の分子磁石・分子磁気メモリー材料を開発した〔坂田〕。6)Fe/Pt,Co/Ptナノ複合粒子の二次元規則配列膜を合成し、磁性と規則配列様式との関係を調べた〔弘津〕。〔エネルギー・環境調和材料グループ〕 1)光エネルギー捕集を目指した合成分子・生体分子の集合化および高効率光電荷分離機能分子集合系を開発した〔坂田〕。2)面不斉有機金属錯体の不斉合成触媒としての機能探索およびらせん不斉有機金属錯体の材料としての機能を探索した〔高橋〕。3)動物細胞も含めた広範な異物排出蛋白の検索と分子構造を解明し、細菌異物排出蛋白を結晶化した〔山口〕。4)アミノ酸残基に由来する蛋白質共有結合型補酵素の生合成機構の解明とマイクロマシン技術による超高感度バイオセンサを作製した〔谷澤〕。〔医療・高齢化用ナノ材料グループ〕 1)共沈法やゾルゲル法などの化学的プロセスを適用しコンポジット粉末を作成し,その条件を明確にし、これまで得られたナノコンポジットの機械加工時の変形メカニズムを解明した〔新原〕。2)人工骨として使われているステンレス鋼のポーラス化を目指し、そのポアの形態制御法を確立した。また、表面合金化によるポーラスステンレス鋼の機械的強化を試みた〔中嶋〕。3)チタンなどの金属へのバイオガラス(MgO)コートした界面の信頼性を確保するため、人体で特に問題となる機械疲労特性を明らかにした。また、生体適合エレクトロニクス実装を実現するためのSn-Ag系合金の最適実装条件を明らかにした〔菅沼〕。〔コンピュータ支援材料設計グループ〕 1)p型、n型の価電子制御や金属化が可能となるような高次機能調和材料創製のための価電子制御を可能にし、推論の基となる同時ドーピング法の一般則を発見し、量子シミュレーションで適用範囲をテストした。ペロブスカイト型酸化物に適用し汎用性を確認することにより半経験的な一般則を確立した〔吉田〕。2)同時ドーピング、及び実際の作成支援などへの機能拡張を行い、システムの試用を通して実験サイドの意見をもとにして改良を進め、実用システムの開発を目指した〔溝口〕。〔極微プロセッシンググループ〕 1)DNAの高分解能STM/AFM観察及び極微加工を行った〔川合〕。2)ナノpn接合に電圧印加した際のSTM像の変化及び断面の観察を行った。また、内殻励起フォトルミネセンスにより、半導体量子構造の組成分析を試みた〔中島〕。3)反応性ガス雰囲気中での、走査プローブ顕微鏡による微細加工技術を開発し、併せてその機構を解明した〔岩崎〕。4)新規フラーレン類の合成および高分解能電子顕微鏡による局所原子配列決定法を確立した〔菅沼〕。5)Fe,Co/Ptナノ複合粒子の基板上二次元規則配列化の手法を探索、確立し、微細構造解析を行った〔弘津〕。
