研究概要

1.DNAデータベース国際共同構築を円滑に押し進めるため,以下のとおりNCBIとEBIにおいてDNAデータベース構築の実態調査と国際会議に出席し発表を行った。
(1)今年度は4月に国立遺伝研究所(三島)において国際実務者会議,国際諮問委員会が開催された。
(2)11月に舘野と菅原がEBI(英国)にて開催されたDNAチップに関する会議に出席し発表した。
2.抗米における様々な生物学データベース構築と利用に関する実体調査と国際会議に出席し発表を以下のとおり行った。
(1)5月に五條堀がSwiss Institute of Bioinformatics (スイス)にて調査研究を行った。(2)6月に五條堀が国際会議Symposium on Genome Diversity and Evolution (米国)に出席し発表ペンシルヴェニア州立大学(米国)にて調査研究を行った。(3)7月に西川がBaylor医科大学(米国)にて調査研究を行った。(4)8月に宮崎がRheinische Friedrich-Wikhelms Universitat大学(独国)にて調査研究を行い、国際会議7th International Conference Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology (独国)に出席し発表し,菅原が国際会議International Union of Microbiological Societies (豪州)に出席し発表し、池尾が国際会議7th Congress of the European Society for Evolutionary Biology (スペイン)に出席し発表した。またバーゼル大学(スイス)にて調査研究を行った。
3.近年生命情報科学の研究がさかんに行われて来ている非欧米地域における生物学データベース構築と利用に関する実体調査と国際会議に出席し発表を以下のとおり行った。
(1)10月に舘野が国際10th International Congress on Genes (中国)に出席し発表し、中国科学院微生物研究所にて調査研究を行った。
