研究概要

豪雨に伴う斜面崩壊現象の発生機構を解明し,その予測法を確立することを目的として共同研究を行った.本年度も
昨年度に引き続き,日本,シンガポール,マレーシアの3国において豪雨時の斜面崩壊の調査と斜面崩壊に関する原位置計測を行った.これらの研究より得られた情報を交換し,降雨時の斜面崩壊機構について議論を行い,本研究のとりまとめを行った.
具体的には,日本から研究代表者と4名の研究分担者がシンガポールとマレーシアを訪問し,原位置における地盤内サクションの計測システムと計測結果,ならびに斜面崩壊現象の予測手法について原位置観測と研究討議により調査を行った.この際,同地域で実施されている原位置観測を見学し,これらの観測から入手し得るサクションの計測データと降雨状況,ならびに斜面の安定性との関係について昨年に引き続き検討を行った.この結果,降雨に連動して斜面内の比較的浅い部分のサクジョンが低下し,斜面を構成する不飽和土の強度が低下すること,ならびにこれに伴い斜面の滑り崩壊に対する安定性が低下すること,さらに地盤内サクションを計測することにより,降雨時における斜面の安定性をモニターすることが可能であるとの結論を得た.
海外からの招へいとしては,シンガポールから3名の研究分担者を招へいした.招へい時には京都大学と鹿児島大学において日本における斜面崩壊現象の特徴と発生機構に関する研究,ならびに斜面におけるサクションのモニタリング手法と計測状況について議論し,シンガポールにおける研究成果との比較検討を行った.これらの研究結果については共同研究の成果として国際会議等で発表した.
