研究概要

1. 地盤の卓越周期分布図の完成
1999年度までに終了したマニラ首都圏全域420ヵ所において観測した地盤の常時微動観測データより、表層の地盤震動特性評価として卓越周期分布をもとめ、等周期分布図を完成した。
2. ブーゲー異常分布図の完成
1998,1999年度の2年にわたる重力測定に加え、今年度さらに補足の観測を行い、マニラ首都圏全域のブーゲー異常図を完成した。
3. GISデータベースシステムによるデータの入力の完成
人口分布、地盤分類、地盤の卓越周期分布とブーゲー異常図を加えてデータベースを完成した。データベースは、フィリピン全土の歴史地震、観測地震の分布図、断層の分布を含んでおり、マニラ首都圏の基本データベースとして地震被害想定に利用に供するものである。
4. マニラ首都圏における地震観測
1997年来設置している地震計による地震観測を今年度も引き続き行い、地震動の特性を分析した。レスポンススペクトルの作成とともに,観測された地震動の中に,沈み込むプレートに伴う反射波と思われる特徴的なフェーズを見出した.
5. 地震危険度評価
地震危険度を想定地震に対する加速度分布の形での評価出来るようにした。
6. ワークショップの開催
1998年度-2000年度とそれに先立つ1995年度-1997年度の、合計6年間のプロジェクトのまとめとして、2000年11月に、本プロジェクト名でのワークショップをフィリピン火山地震研究所で開催した。研究分担者、協力者のみならず、マニラ首都圏の諸大学、研究所、行政機関からの参加者もあり、研究成果についての質疑と、今後の地震防災への適用について討議された。
