溶液プロセスによる高機能複合酸化物の設計

研究概要	エレクトロニクス、イオニクス、超伝導、センサーあるいは触媒などの新しい高機能材料を開発するためには、組成、結晶構造、電子構造、さらには微構造や分散などを設計、最適化した複合酸化物を提案する必要がある。またそれらの特性はその作製プロセスにも大きく影響するので、プロセスの設計および制御も重要である。本研究では設計した高機能複合酸化物を電子的、電磁気的、分光的および物理化学的に評価すると共に、それらを効率よく作製する溶液プロセスの確率を目的とする。溶液プロセスは低温かつ低エネルギー消費であるので環境負荷が小さいという長所を持つほか、通常の高温プロセスや真空プロセスでは逆に生成しにくい低温層や準安定相が得られる特色もある。本年度の主な成果は以下の通りである。 1.LiOH中において金属基板を処理する溶液プロセスによりLiCoO_2の薄膜を100℃付近の低温でつくることができる。 2.本プロセスより電極として活性な高温相LiCoO_2を100〜150℃で作製できる。 3.溶液をフローさせながら水熱反応、あるいは水熱電気化学反応を起こさせる反応装置を開発し、これを用いてBaTiO_3/SrTiO_3の積層膜が作製できる。 4.水溶性のチタン錯体、タンタル錯体、ニオブ錯体を開発し、それらを用いて均一組成の各種複合酸化物の微粉体の合成に成功している。 5.錯体重合法により層状複合酸化物が合成され、これが高感度光触媒の性能を示すことを実証した。 6.インターカレーションにより層状複合酸化物にLiなどのイオン、塩、分子からバイオ高分子までを挿入することができ、それにより各種のナノハイブリッドが作製できることがわかった。 7.複合酸化物の新しい量子強誘電体や高イオン導電体が作製できた。
