含複素環ビオローゲンを用いる新規な非局在電子系の創出

研究概要	近年、分子間の弱い相互作用に基づく分子認識や反応性の制御に関する研究が注目を集めている。特に生体内ではそのような弱い相互作用が複数絡み合って作用し、酵素反応や遺伝情報の伝達などが高次に制御されている。また、各種分子デバイスの開発においても、分子間の弱い相互作用を利用した分子集合形態の制御が必須であると考えられている。このような観点から本研究では、酸化還元能を有する有機芳香族系化合物の機能や分子集合形態に及ぼす分子間相互作用の影響を調べるため、置換基にピリジンやピリミジンのような複素環を導入したビオローゲン誘導体および新規な酸化還元系補酵素をとりあげ種々検討を行った。その結果、各種フェノール系芳香族化合物との間で、1:lおよび1:2の電荷移動錯体が形成されることを見いだした。X線結晶構造解析により得られた電荷移動錯体の構造について詳細に検討を加えたところ、π-π相互作用に加え、CH-Cl,OH-Cl,およびCH-Oのような分子間相互作用の存在が確認された。さらに興味深いことに、1:2錯体においては上記のような各種相互作用に加え、ビオローゲン分子の芳香族水素とドナー分子の芳香族面との間に、CH-π相互作用の存在が確認された。さらに、新規な芳香族オルトキノン系補酵素の酸化還元機能について知見を得るため、そのセミキノンラジカルアニオン種の電子状態を明らかにするとともに、その電子状態や酸化還元電位に及ぼす溶媒効果や金属の配位効果を明らかにした。
