研究概要	(1)球内閉じ込め励起子の光学応答スペクトル:前年度・前前年度に行ったサイズ量子化準位の計算・微視的非局所理論による光学応答の計算と比較するために、1970年代に行われた巨視的理論によるスペクトルの計算を非輻射幅のない条件下で行った。この理論では付加的境界条件を仮定する必要があるが、以前の取り扱いに従ってPekar型を採用した。平面波入射に対する全散乱断面積の周波数依存性を比較すると、球の大きさに従って全角運動量及び波動関数の動径方向成分の基底を多数用意して計算すれば、両者は正確に一致することが示された。従って、量子化準位の縦・横の性格づけや各準位の輻射シフトおよび輻射幅等の詳細を問題にしなければ、巨視的理論でもスペクトル計算は正しく出来ると結論される。 (2)レーザー場によるナノ物質の操作:周波数一定のレーザー場の中でナノ微粒子や薄膜が受ける力をマクスウェル応力テンソルから計算した。特に共鳴条件下ではナノ物質にかかる力が何桁も増大することを見出した。CuClの励起子共鳴に対しては、100nm以下のサイズが有効で、例えば10nmの微粒子では共鳴により5桁の増大が見込まれる。この効果はこのサイズ領域で大きなサイズ敏感生を示す。また、金属コートした基板上適当な距離に置いた薄膜の場合、薄膜の全反射域の光をあてると非常に大きな反発力が働くことも判明した。これはキャビティ効果によると解釈される。
