自発励起アルベン波動による高エネルギーイオンの散乱

研究概要	プラズマ中に存在する低周波領域(<1 MHz)からイオンサイクロトロン周波数領域に渡って観測される磁場揺動に関して、その励起と相関を持つ高エネルギーイオンの損失が報告されている。タンデムミラー型装置ガンマ10においては、磁気プローブ等の測定により、温度の非等方性に起因するアルペンイオンサイクロトロン(AIC)波動と低周波数領域のグローバルアルべン波動に対応する磁場揺動が励起されることが明らかとなっている。本課題では、高エネルギーイオンの振舞を調べる為に、磁力線に沿って開放端部から損失するイオン計測に加えてセントラル部中央面でのイオンのピッチ角分布計測が可能な半導体検出器を用いた計測器を開発した。現在までに、揺動と相関を持った高エネルギーイオンの信号とそのピッチ角依存性が観測されている。プラズマ中に自発的に励起される揺動の励起条件とその空間構造は、高エネルギーイオンの散乱による損失を防ぐ上で重要である。本課題では、プラズマ中のアルベン固有モードが、主にプラズマパラメタに強く依存した境界条件によって励起されることに着目した。外部から積極的に波動を入射し、アンテナ負荷や励起される波動等の応答から、プラズマの巨視的パラメタを推定することを試みた。ガンマ10アンカー部にイオンサイクロトロン周波数の0.7〜0.9倍の高周波を入射して、アンテナ負荷の測定と励起波動の検出を行った。理論的にAIC波動が成長する周波数帯でのアンテナ負荷の減少と、共鳴的な磁場揺動の励起が観測された。磁場方向のプラズマパラメタに強く依存した境界条件を持つAIC波動の自発励起が示唆されている。
