格子QCDにおけるクォークを含んだ繰り込み群変換

研究概要	この研究は、動的クォークの対生成・対消滅効果を取り入れた、近似なしの量子色力学(フルQCD)における改良された格子作用を、繰り込み群変換によって研究することを目的としている。格子作用のゲージ部分は格子間隔の2次以上の誤差しか持っておらず、格子間隔の1次の誤差を持つクォーク部分のみを改良することがしばしば行われてきた。しかし、格子化によるクォークのカイラル対称性の破れはダブラーの寄与であり、単純な次数勘定では改良の程度は決定できない。ダブラーの効果を押さえるためには、クォークの背景場となるゲージ配位のなめらかさが重要な役割を果たすと考えられる。配位のなめらかさに関して繰り込み群変換が直接改良効果を持つことから、ゲージ部分を繰り込み群で改良することが有効と考えられる。そこで、格子作用のゲージ部分については、クォークを含まない場合の繰り込み群に基づいた改良された作用を採用し、クォーク部分では、摂動論的な研究に基づく改良された作用を使った場合の、相構造や改良の程度をテストした。第一年度に行った準備的な比較研究によって、上記のようにゲージ部分とクォーク部分両方を改良する事の有効性が確認された。これにより、現在の計算機能力でも、格子間隔が有限であることに依る誤差を抑えた、系統的研究を行いうる可能性が開かれた。第二年度以降はこの作用を使った大規模計算を行い、ハドロンスペクトルやクォーク質量、崩壊係数、有限温度の圧力やエネルギー密度等の様々な物理量の計算を実行した。それにより、動的クォーク効果と格子作用の改良の重要性を示した。
