インド-西部太平洋に分布するクロサギ科魚類の分類学的再検討

研究概要	初年度は、最も標本入手の難しいインドの2つの種群であるThe G.Subfasciatus complexとThe G limbatus complexの標本の確保に全力を注いだ。現在解析中である。また平行してデータ取りのほぼ終わった他の種群の3種を含むThe Gerres oyena complexをreviewsし、最近受理された。また、タイ国からの1種の新種を含む3種のThe G.setifer complexも今年2月にIchthyol.Res.に出版された。更にThe G.setifer complexに含まれるマレー半島からG.phayaの新種をCopeiaに投稿した。The G. erythrourus complexはG.erythrourusを有効と認める論文を1998年に公表した。The G.filamentosusでは、タイ湾からG.infasciatusの新種を1998年に公表した。The G.longirostris complextとThe G.oblongus complexは現在解析および執筆中である。データ取りと論文作成に重点をおき、結論が得られたグループから積極的に公表していく。
