研究概要	本研究では、超磁歪材料の大出力,大変位,高速反応時間という優位性を活かし、全く新しい試みとして、社会的貢献度が高い地震災害防止および交通運輸等による制振装置に直ちに適用できる『超磁歪アクチュエータ・センサ適用の構造物制振機構とデバイス』を開発試作する。平成11年度は〔I〕制振デバイスの加工部品組立とアクチュエータ、センサ、機素組込によるシステムの一体化〔II〕システムの構造と機能の調整および予備運転を行った。以下、研究成果を記述する。〔I〕では、制振装置用部品を組み立るとともに、そこに超磁歪デバイスおよび計測・評価用センサ、その他の機素を組み込んだ。〔II〕では、全機構の要素を各々システム化するとともに、平成10年度に分担ごとに製作された機構の連携システムを構築した。そして、振動ビームの振動信号を加速度ピックアップで検出し、それをコンピュータの制振指令に変換し、制振する制振回路システムを完成した。さらに、フィードバック制御は行わずに,加速度計の信号から振動の位相のみを検出し、予め計測した固有周期に合った正弦波制御力を適宜逆位相で人力し、振動が(最大加速度が)あるレベル以下になったら制御を止めるという簡易な方法で予備実験を行った。その結果、制振開始後数秒足らずで,ビーム先端加速度が十分小さくなることが確認された。これらの成果の一部は、国内諸学会および国際会議(1.Int.Conf.ICCM-12,France,2.Int.Conf.Materials and Device characterization in Micromachining II,Santa Clara)等で報告された。
