研究概要	本研究ではラジカル反応の利点を活かし、アルキルラジカルと遷移金属ラジカルが協同して働く新しいハイブリッド触媒系を見出すことで、Heck型の反応において限界とされるアルキル基質の適用のための道を開こうとするものである。基礎的知見を得るために分子内に二重結合を有するヨウ素化合物を用い検討を行い、本研究目的に資する以下の成果を得ることができた。・5-へキセニルヨージドと触媒量のテトラキスフォスフィンパラジウムとの反応を検討した結果、光照射条件の併用でラジカル開始反応が確認できた。この過程には電子移動反応による一価のPdIラジカルの生成と5-ヘキセニルラジカルの生成が含まれるものと考察される。・上記反応においてはシクロペンチルメチルヨージドが主に得られた。このことからラジカル反応による炭素ー炭素結合の生成とつづくヨウ素原子移動反応が主たる反応経路となる。・一方、上記反応においてはメチレンシクロペンタンが副生した。このことからラジカル反応による炭素ー炭素結合の生成につづいて生成したアルキルパラジウムヨージド種からのβ-水素脱離反応が生起し、C-C二重結合が生起したものと考えられる。・メチレンシクロペンタンの生成は期待した分子内ラジカルHeck反応過程となるが、全体としてはヨウ素原子移動反応を抑制する反応系の検討がさらに必要となる。・5-へキセニルヨージドとパラジウム(0)との反応を光照射条件下にCO加圧下で試みた。その結果、環化後にCOの捕捉が起こりアルコール共存系ではエステルが高収率で生成した。この一酸化炭素を用いた系での反応ではアシルラジカルと一価のPdIとの結合によるアシルパラジウム錯体の生成が強く示唆される。以上、ラジカル反応とパラジウム触媒反応を組み合せることで新しいHeck型反応の創製を目標に検討した。その結果ラジカル反応によるC-C結合の生成とつづくC-Pd結合の生成とつづくβ-脱離あるいはアルコキシカルボニル化という、両反応種がうまく介在する反応系に遭遇できた。本萌芽的研究におけるこれらの結果は、上記コンセプトにもとづきHeck型の有用反応系を開発できる基礎を与えたものといえる。
