研究概要	1. 地球環境保全の鍵となる化学現象を探索し、それらの機能解明を最先端の錯体化学を基盤にして行うことを目的として以下の研究を展開した。 2. 二核Ni(II)錯体を用いて尿素をシアン酸イオンに変換にした(大川)。メタンモノオキシゲナーゼを用いてメタンからメタノールの生産を行った(大倉)。二核銅中心における分子状酸素の活性化及びアルカンの水酸化反応機構を明らかにした。(伊東)。光線力学療法用の糖連結ポルフィリンを合成した(覚知・矢野)。新規酸化状態を持つPt-Co複合系金属錯体の合成と酸化還元反応を調べた(木下・磯辺)。NMRシフト試薬としてLa(III)錯体が有効であることを明らかにした(佐々木)。新規二核Mo(III)錯体の合成・X線構造決定・物性測定を行った(柴原)。触媒反応において、Taのエンジアミド錯体が重要な役割を演ずることを明らかにした(巽)。アザヘムを用いた再構成ミオグロビンの電気化学特性を明らかにした(谷口)。L-ヒスチジン銅(II)錯体のDNA上での立体特異的な会合を見いだした(千喜良)。NOを高感度かつ特異的にとらえる蛍光試薬の開発を行った(長野)。トリイミダゾイル配位子を有する酸化型銅-ヘム錯体を合成した(成田)。触媒残基近傍の酸性アミノ酸がアルカリキシラナーゼの至適pHに寄与していることを見いだした(中村)。Coポルフィリン錯体を担持した緻密薄膜を作成し、高(酸素/窒素)選択比での酸素の透過を実証した(西出)。Ru錯体の気水界面を利用した表面修飾法を開発した(芳賀)。Tbペロブスカイト型化合物の結晶構造と磁気構造を決定した(日夏)。高原子価鉄ポルフィリン錯体およびそのπラジカルカチオン生成の電子移動特性を明らかにした(福住)。銅(II)-アミン錯体による燐酸エステル類の加水分解触媒能を検討した(藤井)。デノボデザインされたマルチポルフィリン系を構築した(山村)。
