研究概要	理論計算は、実験データの解析を補助するだけでなく、実験を補完し信頼できる独自の化学的・物理的情報を提供している。地球大気は簡単な分子から構成されており、地球環境に影響を与えている分子も、ほとんど簡単な分子である。この意味で、理論化学・計算化学は大気環境の分子過程の研究に寄与できる。このような観点で、研究課題の探索を進め、以下のような研究を実施した。 1.N_2,COなど大気中の基本分子の分光学定数精密計算 COのポテンシャルエネルギーと双極子モーメント曲線の精密計算に基づき、振動回転遷移確率を正確に求め、太陽大気の観測データの解析を行い、太陽大気中のCOの温度を見積もった。 2.水クラスター負イオンと水和された1族金属クラスターの研究と電子-水素結合概念の提唱原子核を中心に持たない安定な電子雲状態の存在を見いだし、その構造をOH{e}HO構造と名付け、その結合状態は水素結合に類似した電子-水素結合と呼べることを明らかにした。 3.OHラジカルと飽和炭化水素の反応 4.OHラジカルとイソプレンの反応 5.イオン層D領域におけるオキソニウムイオンH_3O^+とその水和物の生成機構 6.分子間相互作用計算のための局所射影分子軌道法:BSSEを避ける分子軌道理論の開発基底関数の不完全性(欠損)に由来する誤差(BSSE)を避ける理論的手法として局所射影分子軌道法を導出し、これに基づく摂動展開法を開発した。 7.希ガス原子Rgに溶媒和されたアルカリ金属イオンM^+
