研究概要	平成11年11月4日に第一回総括班会議を大阪で開催し、本領域研究の進め方を討論した。その結果に基づき、以下のような研究活動を行なった。本特定領域研究の研究内容を広く周知させることを目的として、ニュースレター(特定領域研究「免疫シグナル伝達」ニュース)を300部作成し、計画研究代表者及び分担研究参加予定者及び主たる免疫学会会員(合計300名)に配付した。平成12年度に計画研究がスタートした後は、年2〜3回の予定でニュースレターを発刊し、各研究者に配付し情報交換を促進する予定である。現状の研究状況をよく把握するとともに、12年度計画研究を開始するにあたり、学問上の問題点をより明確にするために、第一回公開シンポジウムを、平成12年2月29日〜3月1日に開催した。本特定領域研究からは計画研究の代表研究者9名の講演と、総括班員から1名の講演を行なった。さらに、研究者間の情報交換を促進するとともに、研究内容を広く公開する目的で、本特定領域研究のホームページを作製し、公開した。 (ホームページアドレスhttp://www.med.osaka-u.ac.jp/pub/molonc/www/immune/index.html)各計画研究が円滑に開始されることを目的として、全体に共通する研究方法の条件決定を行なった。本特定領域研究では、各種情報伝達分子のノックアウトマウスや、トランスジェニックマウスを作製したり、他から供与を受けて使用するが、これらのマウスの免疫臓器の免疫組織化学的解析は、全研究者の共通の問題である。このために、凍結ミクロトームを購入し、すでに組織切片を均一に作製するための条件設定を終了した。
