研究概要

平成14年度に完成したTibet-IIIアレーは順調に連続稼動しており、現在約1.5kHzでデータの取得を行っている。収集した観測データの解析を精力的に進め、得与れた一次宇宙線全粒子スペクトルの予備的結果を第28回宇宙線国際会議で報告した。現在,観測データと厳密に比較可能なシミュレーションデータベースの作成を継続している。このデータ・ベースの作成にはCOSM0S及びEPICSコードを用いて観測装置を込みにしたフル・シミュレーションによる計算で作成しており,観測データのシングル粒子の定義をシミュレーションで厳密に再現しデータ・ベース作成に取り入れている。これに加えて、CORSIKAコードを用いたフル・シミュレーションを行い、用いたシミュレーションによる系統誤差を検討中である。また、一次宇宙線中の特に陽子成分スペクトルの観測を目的として1996年から1999年に行った空気シャワーアレーとエマルションチェンバーの連動実験の解析をすするため、スキャナーによるX線フィルムの自動解祈法の開発を進め、全期間のX線フィルムの解析を完了した。連動実験で得られたデータとCOSMOSコードによるシミュレーションとの比較検討から一次宇宙線中の陽子成分頻度をもとめ、第28回宇宙船国際会議で報告した。今回得られた結果は、前年度に富士・カンパラEC実験データの再解析で得たものと矛盾なく、より詳しいスペクトルの冪の情報を含むものである。これらの成果を学会誌へ投稿すべく準備中である。
