微生物産ポリエステルを主成分とする高性能生分解性高分子複合材料

研究概要	本研究の目的は、再生可能な原料から微生物により生産される生分解性プラスチックを主成分とし、これと分子間相互作用することが可能な異種の高分子材料を副成分として組合わせて複合化することにより、機械的性質が優れ、制御可能な生分解性を持つ環境低負荷高分子複合材料を創製することである。本特定領域の最終年度である本年度は以下の3項目の研究を行なった。 (1)微生物産生共重合ポリエステルの構造と物性植物油を原料として生産される共重合ポリエステルである3-ヒドロキシ酪酸/3-ヒドロキシヘキサン酸共重合体の単量体単位組成と熱的性質の関係を明らかにした。さらに、既に解析を終了している3-ヒドロキシ酪酸/3-ヒドロキ吉草酸共重合体などの性質と比較し、共重合体を構成する単量体単位の化学構造が物性に及ぼす効果を明らかにした。 (2)微生物産生ポリエステル/微生物産生ポリエステルブレンド微生物由来のポリ(3-ヒドロキシ酪酸)及び単量体単位組成の異なる数種の3-ヒドロキシ酪酸/3-ヒドロキシヘキサン酸共重合体から成る種々の二成分ポリマーブレンドを調製し、熱分析に基づいて固体相構造を解析した。 (3)ブレンド(複合化)による酵素分解性の制御ポリ(3-ヒドロキシ酪酸)分解菌が細胞外に分泌するポリ(3-ヒドロキシ酪酸)分解酵素によっては加水分解することの出来ない完全非晶質の化学合成アタクト-ポリ(3-ヒドロキシ酪酸)について、完全非晶質、化学合成アタクト-ポリ(メタクリル酸メチル)とブレンドすることによる酵素加水分解促進を検討した。ブレンドの相構造と酵素分解速度の関係を明らかにした。
