ポリ乳酸をベースとする生分解性ポリエステルの構造と物理的特性に関する研究

研究概要	14年度は、主に以下の4つの項目に関する研究を行った。 1.ポリ(L-乳酸)(PLLA)の微粒子充填複合材料の物理特性および生分解性 CaCO_3添加量の増加とともにPLLAの弾性率は上昇し、強度は一定の添加量を越えると減少する傾向を示した。PLLAの酵素的加水分解速度は、添加量5-20wt%の範囲までは著しく上昇するが、それを越えると低下した。 2.生分解性ポリエステルブレンドの物理特性および生分解性に与える相溶化剤の影響フィルムの弾性率はブレンド比[X=PLLAの重量/{ポリ(ε-カプロラクトン)(PCL)の重量+PLLAの重量}]が0.6-0.8範囲において、強度はX=0-0.1および0.5-0.8の範囲において、破断伸度は全てのXにおいて、両者の共重合体を添加した方が高くなった。また、共重合体の添加は、ブレンドおよび非ブレンドフィルム両者の酵素的加水分解速度を低下させた。 3.PLLAの種々の媒体中における表面親水化と加水分解機構 PLLAのproteinase Kによる加水分解は、endo的およびexo的に表面から進行するため、厚い材料の表面親水化には適する。NaOH水溶液による加水分解は、endo的に表面から進行するため、PLLA材料の厚みを問わず、親水化の有効な方法であることがわかった。これに対して、リン緩衝液による加水分解では、endo的に材料全体的に進行するため、親水性が上昇する以前に材料は崩壊した。 4.ポリ乳酸(PLA)の立体規則性および鏡像異性体ブレンドが白己触媒的加水分解に与える影響立体規則性の高いPLLAおよびポリ(D-乳酸)(PDLA)の自己触媒的加水分解速度は、立体規則性の低いポリ(DL-乳酸)(PDLLA)の加水分解速度よりも低いが、PLLA鎖とPDLA鎖の相互作用の強いPLLA/PDLAブレンドの加水分解速度よりも高いことが明らかとなった。
