研究概要	生体分子配列系の典型例である緑色光合成細菌のアンテナ系、クロロゾームにおける色素の自己会合体形成過程と色素分子間相互作用、エネルギー移動速度論との対応を考察した。 Bacteriochlorophyll c(BChlc)を主要な色素として持つChloroflexus aurantiacusのクロロゾームについて,分子構造モデルも幾つか提出されているが、未だに明解では無い。そこで,解析を行って以下のような結果を得た。 (1)自己会合体には本来歪みが掛かっていると考えられた。少量の1-hexanol添加によって構造体を一部解離条件に置いたときにCD強度がpsi-typeに変化することが観測されることから証明された。会合体に歪みを与える要因,会合体の歪みの受け方については明解ではない。(2)ニコチンでβカロテンの合成を阻害をすると会合体の歪みの受け方が弱く、かつ吸収極大は僅かながら短波長側へ移行した。これはホモログの組成変化以上に匹敵するする大きな変化であった。βカロテンとBChl c会合体はvan der Waals contactしており、カロテノイドとの相互作用が歪みの原因と考えられた。(3)会合体は吸収特性として均一ではなく、長波長側にシンクとなることができるフォームが752nmに観測されたが、この成分からの蛍光は観測されず,他のフォームとの間の平衡が成立していることが示唆された。これは、励起子の低エネルギー側のバンドと対応する可能性もあり、今後の検討課題となった。
