研究概要	我々は世界に先駆け、高酸化活性種である複核ニッケル及びコバルト高原子価架橋ジオキソ錯体の構造決定に成功しているが、「構造と反応性の相関」という観点に立ち、金属支持配位子をヒドロトリスピラゾリルボレートTp^Rに固定し、上記の錯体に代表される複核酸素錯体に加え、単核酸素錯体についても合成及びその性質解明を試みている。今年度は新たにニッケル+2価ヒドロキソ錯体とtert-ブチルヒドロペルオキシドとの脱水縮合反応により生成した単核アルキルペルオキソ錯体の単離・構造決定に成功した。この錯体は比較的熱安定性が高く、また求核的な基質酸化反応性を示すこと等、複核高原子価架橋ジオキソ種との相違が見られ、複核及び単核金属中心上での酸素活性化機構の特徴を明らかにするべく引き続き研究を展開する計画である。更に金属支持配位子の立体並びに電子的構造が配位酸素分子の活性化に及ぼす影響の解明を目的として、Tp^Rに代わる新規三脚型配位子の開発を行っている。現在までにホウ素原子上に2つのN-メチルイミダゾリル基が結合した非対称型ボレート化合物[RB(Im^<N-Me>)_2X]^-の合成に成功しており、酸素錯体合成へ向けた準備段階としてその金属錯体形成能について検討した結果、配位置換基の電子的効果やホウ素原子上の置換基の立体障害の効果などが錯形成能に大きな影響を及ぼすことを明らかにした。
