研究概要

本研究は、特定領域研究(B)「高等植物の自家不和合性における自他識別機構の分子的解析」5つの計画研究を統括し、調整し、推進するために策定された。本年度は、平成12年7月に研究計画発表会、平成13年1月に成果報告会として、班会議を開催した。又班会議に際して、総括班会議を総括班メンバーと研究計画代表者の合同で行った。2度の班会議は、研究に携わっている研究スタッフ、大学院生が集まり、それぞれの研究の進捗状況並びに今後の計画について詳細に報告し、情報交換を図るとともに、評価委員からの評価を受けた。さらに、班会議に際して、自家不和合性の海外の研究者並びに、国内の関連分野の研究者を招聘し公開セミナーを開催した。
なお、本年度の成果のとりまとめとして、昨年度同様、個別の研究の成果の概要と印刷された論文集をまとめた成果報告書を作成し、総括班員、研究代表者、研究分担者、共同研究者および関係各方面に配布して、その成果について、広く公表した。なお、本特定研究の紹介のために研究代表者の研究室のホームページ(http://bsw3.aist-nara.ac.jp/isogai/Isogai.html)に特定研究(B)「植物自家不和合性」のホームページを作成し、研究内容、研究成果、班会議、公開セミナーの案内などの情報を公開している。
来年度の総括班としての計画としては、年2回の総括班会議、研究発表会、及び、若手研究者の研修会を予定し、研究発表会の機会を利用して海外の研究者を招聘し、交流を図ることが決定された。また、平成14年度には、国際シンポジウムを企画する方向で進めることも了承された。
