ポリマーブレンドにおける相分離構造の三次元構造解析とレオロジー

研究概要	本年度は、研究計画に基づいて次の項目について検討を行った。 ●液滴分散相の変形と形状回復の観察: 液滴分散相の形状が2方向から観察可能な変形賦与装置を作成した。低粘度・低弾性率の孤立液滴にステップ状の大変形を与えると、扁平楕円体、棒状、亜鈴状、回転楕円体、球と形状回復し、界面積を減少させることが明らかになった。さらに、この界面積の変化と液滴の長軸の変化の間に普遍的関係があることを見出した。長いシリンダー状界面をもつ液滴分散相の波打ちの特性波長、振幅の成長および界面積の変化を明らかにした。さらに界面のガウス曲率と平均曲率の変化および分布を調べ、界面の不安定性の場所が周期的変わることを見出した。 ●連続構造をもつポリマーブレンドの粘弾性: 溶融混練りによる変調構造をもつポリスチレン/ポリメタクリル酸メチルは共連続構造に類似した連続構造をもつ。この連続構造の規則性を反映して、動的粘弾性関数の周波数依存性は指数則を示した。ステップ状の大変形下での連続構造の変形と緩和を調べ、配向方向の不変性、配向方向の伸長と収縮を明らかにした。
