研究概要	1)貯穀害虫であるオオツノコクヌストモドキ(Gnatocerus cornutus)の集合フェロモンの主成分の構造として提案されていた(+)-acoradieneを合成したが、合成品の分光学的性質は天然物と一致しなかった。よってフェロモンの真の構造は、(+)-acoradieneではない。 2)眠り病を媒介するアフリカのツェツェバエ(Glossina austeni)の性フェロモンである13,17-dimethyl-1-tritriaconteneと13,17-dimethyl-1-pentatriaconteneの全立体異性体の合成を完了した。現在アフリカで生物活性試験を実施中である。 3)ツェツェバエGlossina brevipalpisの性フェロモンであろうと考えられている3,7,11,15-tetramethylhentriacontaneと4,8,12,16-tetramethyldotriacontaneを立体異性体混合物として合成した。現在アフリカで生物活性試験を実施中である。
