研究概要

位相力学系の中でも特に連続体理論に関係する力学系の研究を行った。この分野は、最近アメリカ、中国を中心として世界各国で活発な研究が行われている分野である。今年度得られた結果は、次の結果である。(1)Mをhereditarily decomposable theta ^*-continuaでFをMからM自身への同相写像とする。Fの任意のrecurrent point xに対してxのオメガ極限集合はFの周期、あるいはadding machineと半共役となる。更に、MがSuslineanであれば、Fのエントロピーはゼロになる。(2)Gをグラフ、fをGからG自身への連続写像とする。PをGの有限集合でPはf不変と仮定する。このとき、fの力学的な複雑さを幾何学的に表現するのが研究目標のひとつであるが、ここではfとP及びマルコフ・グラフを使って、幾何学的に目に見えるような構成方法で、regular continuumZとZ上の反共役でp(P)-expansive連続写像g、及びGからZへ全射写像pを構成した。つまり、pf=gpでZのフラクタル的構造と拡大的写像gは、fの各点の軌道のカオス性をPに関して正確に表現したものとなっている。(3)コンパクトで可算個の点からなる空間が拡大同相写像をもつための必要かつ十分条件を得た。(4)任意の3次元以上のコンパクト多様体上に、各点の逆像が一点でない開かつ単調な写像でかつBulaの性質を満たさないものを構成した。これは、Bulaの問題として知られているもので、それを否定的に解決したことになる。
