機能調和人工格子の形成とナノスケールの相転移現象解明および新規メモリ素子の創成

研究概要	1、機能調和人工格子によるスピン・双極子配列制御従来、個々に独立に研究・論議されてきた強誘電体や強磁性体を、原子・分子層単位での厳密な結晶構造制御により組み合わせた機能調和人工格子を形成し、電荷・スピン状態の制御および新規物性の発現を目指す。さらに、ナノスケールでの相転移現象(誘電率や強磁性転移温度のサイズ効果)を系統的に評価することで、低次元物性を評価した。具体的にはSrRuO_3-SrTiO_3SrRuO_3-BaTiO_3人工格子を形成し、格子歪みと次元性低下による磁気特性変化の相関を明らかにした。 2、有機/無機人工格子における光励起効果高い光電変換機能を有する有機半導体と、優れた磁気・誘電特性を持つ遷移金属酸化物(無機化合物)とのヘテロ構造(pn接合)を構築し、光誘起キャリアを無機層(遷移金属酸化物層)へ注入することにより、光誘起磁性あるいは光誘起双極子の実現を狙った。高い光伝導特性を有する有機光機能材料とのヘテロ構造を構築し、光誘起キャリアを無機層(金属酸化物層)へ注入することにより、光誘起磁性あるいは光誘起双極子の実現を狙う。候補材料として、誘導体;MTiO_3(M=Ba,Sr,Ca,Pb),ZrPbO_3,LiNbO_3(ペロブスカイト類縁)、磁性体;M'FeO_3,M'MnO_3,M'CoO_3(M'=Ba,Sr,Ca,La etc.)等を検討する。また、高い光電機能を有する有機層として、銅フタロシアニン、Alアントラキノンを検討し、実際に積層薄膜構造が作製可能な条件を見出した。
