研究概要

南米に生息する補食性カメムシの一種Tynacantha marginataの雄が生産する新規骨格セスキテルペン(9-isopropyl-4,6-dimethyltricyclo[4.4.0.0^<5,9>]dec-3-en-2-one(1)のラセミ体を分子内double Michael反応を鍵反応として合成し、推定された構造の正しさを確認した。次に、Meyersの光学活性シクロペンテノン合成法を経由して得た(S)-5-(3-isopropylbut-3-enyl)-2,5-dimethylcyclopenta-1,3-dieneの分子内Diels-Alderにより調製した2種の3環性オレフィンの混合物を官能基変換し、途中の中間体混合物で分離することにより、それぞれを(+)-1および(-)-1に変換した。このようにして、単一の不斉源から両鏡像体を合成することに成功した。両者のキラルGLC保持時間を天然物のものと比較することにより、(1S,5S,6S,9S)-(+)-1が天然型エナンチオマーであることを決定した。次に、クロゴキブリ(Periplaneta fuliginosa)の性フェロモンとして提唱された、ゲルマクラン骨格を有するペリプラノンDおよびワモンゴキブリ(Periplaneta americana)の性フェロモン副成分であるペリプラノンCの簡便合成を行い、収率および反応の再現性を改良した。無色針状結晶として得られたペリプラノンDの融点および比旋光度は従來報告されていた値ときく異なり、物性の訂正を行うことができた。次に、シロイチモジヨトウ(Spodoptera exigua)の生産するエリシターであるボリシチン(N-(17-hydroxylinolenoyl)-L-glutamine)の17-R体および17-S体を乳酸の両鏡像体から合成した。次に、コーヒー栽培における害虫として知られているハモグリガの一種Perileucoptera coffeellaの性フェロモン(5,9-dimethylpenntadecane)の立体異性体混合物の簡便合成を行い、また、可能な4種の立体異性体それぞれの合成も完了した。立体異性体混合物はブラジルのコーヒー農園で行われた活性試験において強い誘引活性を示すことが明かとなった。
