河川生態系に対する人為的撹乱が与える冷水性魚類への遺伝的・生態的影響評価

研究概要	河川における人為的環境改変による冷水性淡水魚類への生態的・遺伝的影響を評価する目的で、人為的環境改変区と自然流路区間での各調査対象魚種の生態的・遺伝的調査を実施し、以下の成果を得た。 (1)北海道南部の河川において、スナヤツメ幼生を対象に、護岸ブロックによって直線化された流路区と自然の蛇行流路区で生息個体数・密度、およびハビタット選好性を調査した。その結果、屈曲部に砂泥底を多数有する蛇行流路区では直線流路区と比較して、スナヤツメ幼生の個体群サイズが有意に大きいことが示された。また野外調査と水槽実験結果から、このことはスナヤツメ幼生細かい粒度組成で、かつ深い泥深の砂泥底を選好することに起因すると推測された。 (2)約40年前に砂防堰堤が中流部に建設され、魚類の遡上が完全に妨げられた北海道中央部の錦多峰川において、堰堤上下に分断されたイトヨ(太平洋型)の下流部遡河型集団と上流部陸封型集団を対象に、そのアロザイム遺伝子組成および生活史形質に関する調査を実施した。その結果、2つの分集団間には遺伝子頻度に有意な差が認められた。また、陸封型集団は遡河型集団と比較して、繁殖体サイズの小型化、繁殖年齢の高齢化などの幾つかの生活史形質における変化が見出された。 (3)北海道南部の3河川において、砂防ダムによって下流部の遡河回遊型集団と上流部の河川型集団に分集団化されたアメマスを対象に、集団内の遺伝的変異と集団間の遺伝的分化をマイクロサテライトDNAを遺伝マーカーに用いて調査した。その結果、河川集団は遡河回遊型集団に比べて、そのへテロ接合体率が平均で70%ほど低い変異性をしました。また、集団間の遺伝的分化指標であるFST値は0.02〜0.225となり、両集団は有意に遺伝的分化を遂げていろことが示された。 (4)本研究結果から、人為的な河川環境構造の単純化・分断化は、冷水性淡水魚類の生物多様性に負の影響を与えることが検証された。
