研究概要

1 現地調査(A)をこれまでの調査では実施できなかった春季を選び、ネパールのランタン谷およびクンブー地域で行い、以下のことを集団単位で観察・調査した。
(1)繁殖システムと動態、(2)変異性、(3)散布体と個体分散、(4)証拠標本を含む種々の資料の収集
2 現地調査(B)を7月がら8月に、雲南省西北部およびチベット東部および中部地域で実施し、種子植物相を詳細に調査し、標本を収集し、併せて分子遺伝学ならびに細胞遺伝学の解析用サンプルを収集した。
3 帰国後の分子遺伝的解析では、Rhodiola(ペンケイソウ科)、Saxifraga(ユキノシタ科)、Saussurea、Cremanthodium(ともにキク科)について分子系統樹を作成するためのDNA抽出とrbcL、ITSI、trnF-truL non coding region (trnF-L)の遺伝子領域について解析を行っている。
4 細胞遺伝学的解析では、Saxifraga(ユキノシタ科)、Potentilla(バラ科)、Primura(サクラソウ科)、Saussurea、Cremanthodium(ともにキク科)で、染色体を観察し、倍数性・核型を明らかにしつつある。
5 標本の分類学的研究では、採集した標本を中心に分類学的検討を行い、同定した。採集した標本は、東京大学総合研究博物館標本室および中国科学院昆明植物研究所標本室に収蔵した。
6 得られた成果について意見交換を行った。
