固体/溶液界面層の極微構造のその場観察と超高速ダイナミクス

研究概要

基礎、応用の両面で益々その重要視が増しつつある固体/溶液界面反応を厳密に理解する事を目的に、STM、AFM等やシンクロトロン放射(SOR)光を利用した表面X線散乱(XSW)及びX吸収分光(XAS)により固体/溶液界の3次元構造を原子・分子レベルで解析し、二次元高調波発生(SHG)/和周波発生(SFG)といった超高速非線形分光により固体/溶液界面反応プロセスを超短時間領域に拡大して詳細に検討した。
具体的には、1)金属・半導体単結晶電極表面構造の再配列反応及び溶液種吸着の影響の評価金属・半導体単結晶表面の真空中とは異なる再配列構造を、溶液種(カチオン種、アニオン種、溶存種)吸着の影響や下地層の構造による影響を探りながら、STM/AFM/SXS/XSW/XASにより厳密に解析し、溶液種吸着構造をRAS/SFGによって解析した。2)機能性有機分子層の構造/配向の評価と有機分子層反応の超高速追跡種々の末端官能基をもった修飾分子を合成し、自己組織化法により固体表面に配列し、配向性をSTM/AFM及びIRASに用いて決定した。なお、反応素過程における電子移動速度をSHG/SFGによって検討するシステムを開発しつつある。
