研究概要

平成11年度の研究実績は以下のとおりである。
1)SrCu_2(BO_3)_2は二次元のスピンギャップ系であるが、その構造は直交ダイマー系として特徴づけられる。その基底状態がダイマーシングレットの波動関数であることはShastry-Sutherlandによって示されていたが、その量子相転移点を明らかにした。また、トリプレット励起がほとんど局在していることを指摘し、磁化プラトーの起源を明らかにした。
2)重い電子系の基礎モデルである近藤格子について、一次元模型の性質を密度行列繰り込み群を用いて調べ、総合報告にまとめた。
3)梯子格子スピン系の量子相転移について、国際的な共同研究を遂行し、実験と理論の詳細な比較検討を行なった。
4)スピンと軌道の結合したモデルの一次元における臨界的性質を、SU(4)対称性のある場合の周辺を中心にして明らかにした。
5)伝導電子と結合したスピンおよび格子自由度の量子相転移を研究するため、このような系に対する量子モンテカルロ計算のアルゴリズムの開発を行った。これによって有限サイズスケーリングによる臨界現象の解析が可能となった。また、二重交換系におけるスピン-格子相互作用のスピン動力学に対する影響をダイアグラム計算によって研究した。
6)スピンギャップを持つ絶縁体と金属相との間の量子相転移を調べるため、1次元近藤格子の静的および動的相関関数の温度およびドーピング依存性を調べた。また、反強磁性絶縁体とd波超伝導の間の量子相転移を2次元t-Jモデルを用いて調べ、1電子レベルのコントロールによる超伝導相関の増強を明らかにした。
7)磁気秩序相と無秩序相間の量子相転移の問題を、級数展開法を用いて、梯子型・プラケット・混合スピン等の構造をもった2次元量子反強磁性模型に対して研究した。
8)量子臨界点に近接したスピン液体に非磁性不純物を導入した系の低エネルギー有効模型はランダムな交換相互作用をもつ一次元の量子スピン模型になる。この系を、拡張された実空間繰り込み群の方法を用いて解析し、スピンの相関が非常に長距離にわたっていることを明らかにした。
9)磁気相転移点に近接した異方的超伝導体中の非磁性不純物効果を、Ginzburg-Landau理論により解析した。
