研究概要

本年度は、紫外レーザアブレーションのナノ秒時間ゲート分光法を用いて、イオン交換ガラスや誘電体結晶の不純物濃度分布を、従来の手法によりも簡便かつ精度良く測定することに主眼をおいて研究を進めた。
(1)ナノ秒時間ゲート分光システムに冷却CCDを組み込み、発光プルームの分光スペクトルに含まれるKあるいはNaイオンピークの検出感度を10dB以上改善した。
(2)ガラス表面のアブレーション深さを非破壊で測定するために、新たに光コヒーレンストモグラフィ(OCT)技術の導入を提案した。
(3)まず、〜10μmの分解能をもつOCTを用いてラット大腿骨のCa分布測定を行い、OCT技術を導入の有用性を実証した。
(4)ガラスや結晶中の不純物濃度分布測定においては、<1μmの分解能でアブレーション深さを測定する必要がある。このためにコヒーレンス長1.6μmの超低コヒーレンス干渉計を試作し、これを用いてアブレーション深さの測定を試みている。
(5)これと並行して、導波モード励起法によって不純物の浸透深さの測定法を新たに提案し、この技術とナノ秒時間ゲート分光を組み合わせて、高精度の不純物濃度分布測定が行える見通しを得た。
