研究概要

本研究は、高選択性触媒により高反応率条件で目的化合物に選択的に変換する一段合成法(One-Pot Synthesis)が可能になる触媒を創製し、分離操作の効率化する反応分離技術の基盤を確立する。反応としては、芳香族炭化水素の形状選択的アルキル化反応を取り上げ、高反応率と選択性を両立させる新規のゼオライト触媒を創製することを目的とする。本年度の主な成果は以下の通りである。
1) ビフェニルのイソプロピル化による、4、4'-ジイソプロピルビフェニルの選択的合成にHMが高い活性・選択性を示した。この際、酸点の制御を行うために高度に脱アルミニウムを施したHMが高い活性・選択性を示した。
2) HMの触媒作用を超える新規ゼオライトの候補として一次元12員環を有するSSZ-31の合成を検討した。2,2,10,10-テトラエチル-2,10-ドデカニウムをテンプレ-トとするドライゲルコンバ-ジョンを試み、アルカリ濃度を制御することにより高い結晶性のSSZ-31の合成に成功した。今後触媒作用を検討するために大量合成に取り組む予定である。
