研究概要	平成11年度においては以下の具体的課題について研究を推進した。 (1)破壊の物理化学的機構解明 (a)破壊の物理化学的機構解明を、環境助長割れにおける重要力学因子の評価及び複雑系破壊の観点より研究を推進した。またそのため、進展き裂先端局所水化学計測システム装置を設備し、高度に水管理された環境助長割れ試験が可能となった。 (b)低ひずみ速度負荷装置付接触電気抵抗測定装置(平成11年度民間等との共同研究により購入)を開発し、変形活性表面上に形成される酸化膜における応力及び変形効果の検討に着手した。 (c)転位群と水素の固着相互作用を考慮に入れることにより、転位群の逆集積物理モデルを構築した。 (d)複雑系破壊については、数値シミュレーションコードの開発に着手し、岩石の開口型き裂進展とせん断型き裂進展の遷移挙動に関して、巨視き裂に先行する引張破壊き裂の発生が支配的であることを明らかにした。 (II)(1)局所材料情報の計測に関する研究 (i)経年劣化のメカニズム研究経年劣化部材として環境助長割れ、ガスタービン用耐熱材料及びコーティング部材について材料情報計測に主眼をおいて研究を行った。き裂先端及び皮膜/母材あるいはコーティング/母材界面の材質劣化を明らかにした。 (ii)粒界制御工学粒界設計制御による高温酸化脆性の制御に関する研究及び強磁性圧粉体の磁場中焼結について研究を進め、それぞれ粒界性格分布の制御とともに酸化の経路となる粒界の連結性が重要な因子となることを明らかにした。さらに、鋭敏化したニッケル合金をFE-TEMで観察し、電子回折菊池線解析による結晶粒界構造のキャラクタリゼーションと、EDXによる結晶粒界近傍のクロム濃度分析を詳細に行い、炭化物析出の結晶方位的特徴との間に法則を見出した。また、照射誘起応力腐食割れ機構解明のため、オーステナイト系ステンレス鋼粒界組成模擬合金を試作し、加圧水型環境中におけるSi、沸騰水型環境におけるSがき裂進展加速因子であることを明らかにした。 (II)(2)局所環境情報計測き裂内溶液評価のためのマイクロサンプリング手法を改良し、〜4μlのサンプリング手法を考案し微量不純物アニオン種のき裂先端への濃縮プロセスを明らかにした。また、接触電気抵抗法により温度変動を繰り返し、酸化性(電位)の繰り返しによる表面皮膜の劣化を明らかにし、皮膜形成のヒステリシス及びその半導体的特性を明らかにした。また、き裂進展速度に及ぼす試験片板厚効果を検討し、き裂内液性が板厚により異なりそれがき裂進展特性に重要な役割を果たしていることを明らかにした。 (I〓3)局所力学情報計測耐熱コーティング部材の経年劣化に大きな役割を果たしている界面の残留応力及び界面応力の評価のため、電磁気的物性の応力依存性、超音波特性評価、微小領域X線回折(平成11年度購入)及びラマン分光法(平成11年度購入)により、コーティング界面における局所的応力計測を行い、局所応力の計測を開始し、データ集積中である。また、ナノ領域弾性特性評価のため、超音波原子間力顕微鏡用のカンチレバーセンサの試作を行い、予備的な計測に着手した。 (II)(4)局所欠陥情報計測欠陥を高感度・高精度そして高速に計測するため、本研究グルーブにおいて開発・着手された種々の手法について破壊制御の観点より研究を進めた。具体的には集中誘導型交流電位差法、磁気光学(ホール)素子、微小アンテナ法、マイクロ波探傷法、渦電流探傷法、超音波法について検討を進め、高精度化を推進し、従来にない新しい手法の提案の見通しを得た。 (III)高温高圧水中におけるメカノケミカルなき裂の発生・進展・合体過程の連続的観察と、電気化学的ノイズ計測に関する実験的研究とデータベース化による診断手法としての可能性に着手した。本年度購入した進展き裂先端局所水化学計測システムにより、高温高圧水中におけるき裂発生、成長、合体過程の直接観察が可能となった。
