研究概要	キノイド化合物は、有機反応および生体反応において重要な役割を果たしており、多くの研究が行われてきた。しかし、キノンイミンやチオキノンなど反応性が高いキノイド化合物については、共鳴効果など電子的摂動を加えることにより安定化された例は多くあるものの、速度論的な安定化は困難であった。本研究では、独自に開発した架橋カリックス[6]アレーン骨格の立体保護効果を活用して、このようなキノイド化合物を安定に合成・単離するとともに、その構造・性質を解明することを目的として検討を行った。高反応性キノイド化合物として、まずN-無置換キノンイミンの安定化について検討した。前駆体としてp-アジドフェノールユニット架橋体を合成し、塩基存在下で熱分解を行ったところ、対応するキノンイミン架橋体が良好な収率で生成した。このキノンイミンは、空気や水に対して安定な結晶として単離することができた。また、N-無置換キノンイミンとしては初めてX線結晶構造解析を行うことに成功し、イミン部位が架橋カリックス[6]アレーン骨格により効果的に保護されていることを明らかにした。サイクリックボルタンメトリーを測定したところ、対応するベンゾキノン誘導体が1電子ずつ2段階の還元を受けるのに対して、キノンイミンは1段階で2電子還元を受けることが明らかになった。次に、チオキノンの安定化について検討した。前駆体としてp-(メチルチオ)フェノールユニット架橋体を合成し、塩化鉄(III)で酸化したところ、予想したチオキノンではなく、メチルチオ基がメタ位に転位した生成物が得られた。そこで、別経路としてp-ヒドロキシスルフェン酸の脱水により合成することとし、前駆体となるp-ブロモフェニルt-ブチルスルフィド架橋体の合成を行った。
