研究概要	申請者が独自に提案して研究成果を蓄積してきた「コヒーレンス合成光トモグラフィ技術・SOCT;Synthesized Optical Coherence Tomography」に関して、最近提案し基礎研究を進めてきた空間分解能の拡大技術およびダイナミックレンジの拡大技術を確立して、3次元散乱媒体から2次元断層像を抽出する装置の実用化指針を得ることが、本研究の目的である。本研究では、眼科検査応用をはじめとする生体断層像形成や、複合材料の構造評価技術としてその実用化が進展しつつも、2次元的機械掃引部分の存在が機能向上にとって障害となっている「光コヒーレンストモグラフィ・OCT;Optical Coherence Tomography」の持つ問題点を解決できるものと期待されている独自手法の確立を目指すものである。本年度は、離散的周波数可変光源として最も優れたSSG-DBR半導体レーザの周波数可変特性を、既に考案している独自の手法によってキャリブレートし、それを基に光源への注入電流駆動波形を改良した。階段的な周波数変化を与えつつ干渉出力を時間平均測定することで、断面情報を選択抽出できるのが本方法の特徴である。ここで、各段での強度も同期して変化させることにより選択断面以外からの散乱を抑圧することに成功し、ダイナミックレンジを約15dB改善した。また、本レーザの広い周波数可変範囲を活用することにより、空間分解能の改善も図れる。本年度は、本技術を分布型光ファイバ側圧センサに適用して、従来9mであった分解能を2.5mにまで改善することができた。
