| 研究概要 |
H15年度は、ミャンマーのラカイン州ではグワ郡Y村と北部シッドウエーからミャーウ地域、バングラデシュではチッタゴン丘陵県のショドール郡のD村とションデープ島からチッタゴン県にかけての地域について、村での補足調査および犂の形態ならびに製作過程、作付体系の調査を行った。これらの地域に加え,犂の利用形態に関して地理的な分布を調べるためにインドのアッサム州を、また、ラカイン州の焼畑を相対化するためにミャンマーのシャン州において、それぞれ概況調査を行った。これらの調査から、ラカイン州で起きているベンガル犂からビルマ犂への技術変容は、チッタゴン県、アッサム州においても認められ、特に、両型の犂の並存がラカイン州北部地域には顕著であることが分かった。また、各村での補足調査から、特に、グワ郡における定期市(朝市)を中心とする地域的な経済ネットワークが機能していることや、シャン州などとの焼畑システムの比較から焼畑システムの相違は焼畑と居住地との通いに関するセキュリティが関係していることなど明らかとなった。
以上のH15年度の調査結果ならびに、これまでのミャンマーでヤンゴン歴史研究所(UHCR)やヤンゴン大学地理学科、生物、動物学科のカウンターパートとの共同研究の成果を、2004年3月16、17日にSEAMEO-CHAT(東南アジア教育省組織歴史伝統地域センター)でセミナーを開催して公表した。セミナーのタイトル及び発表者と発表題は次の通りである。
