研究概要	リーマン面上の有界正則関数全体のなすバナッハ環はリーマン面の幾何的形状を反映している。研究代表者は有界正則関数環の極大イデアル空間にリーマン面の開集合が位相同型に埋め込まれるための必要十分条件を境界で有界な有理型関数の存在により特徴付けたが、このようなリーマン面では、その上の有界正則関数環が同型ならば、土台となるリーマン面が等角同型になる。これを一般化することが同型問題であるが、一般のリーマン面では反例が構成できることも示している。これまで2葉の被覆面に絞って点分離問題の研究を行ってきたが、本年度は、有限葉被覆面について有界正則関数による点分離性の研究を開始した。2葉の被覆面で成功した理由は被覆変換の存在にある。有限葉でも被覆変換群が葉数と同じ位数の巡回群の場合には、2葉被覆面の方法が拡張できる。中路氏は有界正則関数環と密接な関係にあるハーディ族上の作用素を研究し、スペクトルの類似概念について興味深い結果を得た。立澤氏は実函数論の立場からウェーブレットを使ってシュレディンガー作用素の固有値の分布についての結果を一般を行った。長坂氏とは、本研究の後継者を育てる上に必要な教科書を執筆し、現在校正中であり、近々出版される。井上氏は局所コンパクト可換群について研究し、テーラーの構造半群の構成法に新しい知見を与えた。泉池氏は単位開円板上の有界正則関数環のイデアルおよび極大イデアル空間の構造について研究を進め、多くの新しい結果を与えた。神保氏はある種の多項式関数の多項式凸包を決定に成功した。
