量子群の作用素環論的見地による組織的研究

研究概要

1.山ノ内(代表者)は、以前に自ら導入した擬ヴォロノヴィッツ環に関する研究を行った。まず、擬ヴォロノヴィッツ環に対してそのquantum doubleを作用素環のレベルで定義し、その構造を解析した。それまではある限られたクラスの作用素環的量子群に対してしか、quantum doubleの定義はなされていなかったが、これにより、より一般の作用素環量子群のdoubleが構成できることがわかり様々な非コンパクト擬ヴォロノヴィッツ環の例を組織的に供給することが可能になった。また、擬ヴォロノヴィッツ環上には定数を除いて左不変な荷重は唯1つしか存在しないという結果を得た。植田氏(分担者)は、氏自らが以前に構成した、コンパクト量子群SUq(2)のあるフォンノイマン環へのfreeなproduct type作用について解析を行った。その結果、この作用による不動点環のMurray-von Neumann-Connesの意味での代数型を決定することに成功した。
2.岸本氏(分担者)は、C^*-環の自己同型に関して独自の研究を行った。まずUHF環上のshiftに関する氏自身の結果を拡張し、ある性質を持つC^*-環の無限テンソル積C^*-環上のshiftは、Rohlinの性質をもつことを証明した。その応用として、ある種の実数群のCuntz^1環へのquasi-freeな作用がRohlinの性質を持つための必要十分条件を得た。また、単純な安定AF環上のtrace-scalingな自己同型もまたRohlinの性質を満たすことを示し、これにより1次元トーラス群の単純純無限C^*-環への作用の分類に関して重要な結果を得た。
3.新井氏(分担者)は、量子場のモデルに登場するハミルトニアンを関数解析的見地から解析を行った。特に、ある種の抽象的ヒルベルト空間上の(非有界)自己共役作用素の本質的スペクトルを決定する手段を確立した。この結果を応用して、様々な具体的な量子場のモデルにおけるハミルトニアンの性質を明らかにすることに成功した。
