超臨界水分解法による塩素系環境汚染物質中の塩素抽出とその塩素安定同位体比測定

研究概要

本研究代表者と海外共同研究者とは、環境中におけるダイオキシン類のような塩素系有機化合物(Chlorinated organic compound, COC)の環境動態を調べるために、塩素安定同位体をトレーサーとして利用することが有効であることに着目し、塩素安定同位体ついて高精度・微少量分析実現可能なガス質量分析技術改善のための基礎実験を行った。有機化合物を超臨界水により安全に分解するために必要な電気炉温度制御装置付高圧反応容器による、水の超臨界状態実現のための実験条件を得た。市販の有機化合物について実際に超臨界分解を実施し、今後の更なる詳細な検討が必要であるが、本実験システムで分解可能であることを実証した。塩素同位体分析精度向上の為に必要な微少量塩素の濃縮技術のための基礎データを陰イオンクロマトグラム法により得た。その結果、樹脂に取り込ませる塩素の総量が少なくとも4mg以上であれば8mlの水溶液中にそれらを最大12.5倍濃縮することができることがわかった。コールドフィンガー法を併用した塩素同位体分析では、最小限1mgについてまで十分測定可能であることから、イオン交換樹脂による塩素濃縮技術をさらに高めることにより、微少量塩素の同位体分析を可能にすることができることがわかった。塩素同位体を用いた塩素系有機化合物が環境中において分解・合成した後のフラグメントを追跡するために基本的に必要な塩素同位体分離係数を、陰イオン交換クロマトグラム法により測定した。
