ゼオライトのミクロ空間を利用する可視光応答型光触媒の創製

研究概要

イオン交換法により調製したAg^+/ZSM-5触媒は200nm付近にAg^+に基づく吸収を呈するが、N_2Oの存在下この吸収を光励起するとN_2Oが光触媒的にN_2とO_2に分解した。Ag^+/ZSM-5触媒に含浸法によりPb^<2+>イオンを添加すると、Pb^<2+>イオンの添加量の増大に伴いAg^+イオンのUV吸収領域が200nmから350nm付近まで長波長側にシフトし、350nm以上の長波長を有する光照射下においてN_2Oの光触媒分解反応が進行することがわかった。また、Pb^<2+>添加Ag^+/ZSM-5触媒上ではN_2Oの光触媒分解反応がメタン、エタン、プロパン等の炭化水素の共存下において著しく促進されることを見いだした。
また、高分散酸化チタン種を組み込んだメソポーラスシリケート(Ti-HMS)に、イオン注入法でVイオンなどの遷移金属イオンを注入しTi-HMS)光触媒の可視光化を試みた。Vイオン注入前のTi-HMS触媒は250nm以下にUV吸収を有する。NO存在下、Ti-HMSを紫外光(λ>270nm)照射するとNOの光触媒分解反応が進行し、N_2、O_2及びN_2Oが生成するが、λ>390nmの光照射では反応は全く進行しない。一方、Vイオンを注入するとTi-HMS(V/Ti-HMS)は、注入イオン量に依存して吸収が長波長側にスムーズにシフトし、さらに、V/Ti-HMSはλ>390nm,420nmの光照射でも光触媒反応性を示し、NOをN_2とO_2に高選択的に分解することがわかった。以上、イオン交換法やイオン注入法を駆使することで可視光照射下で応答する光触媒系の構築が可能となることが示唆された。
