研究概要

本研究の目的は、教師、大学、大人のための遠隔教育システムを構築し、その可能性と効果を探究することである。教育の対象者は、情報処理の知識を広げたい大学生と大学院生そして、会社員である。また、先端的アイディアと新技術を利活用することを望む教師も本研究の対象である。現在社会では知識と情報処理の重要性は増加しており、次世代を担う者がこれに対応できるよう教育しなければならない。しかし、教師が新しい技術への対応を教えるためには、教師もそのことについて学習しなければならない。さらに、より年長の者に対しても新しい技術について学ぶチャンスを与えることは望ましいことである。本計画は上記のような教育を実現するものである。まず、ルーマニア・日本の間で実現させ、次の段階として他の国々との間でも実現するよう計画している。上記に述べたように、ルーマニアとの協同研究体制はすでに整っている。本研究はまた、コミュニケーションの最適化に対するエージェント技術適用の可能性を探るものでもある。
本プロジェクトの最終目的は、適応的な知識処理そして知識抽出をおこなう遠隔教育システムを提供することである。本研究は、継続的なユーザからのフィードバックとそれに基づく改良とのくりかえしをおこなうことで遂行された。このような方式をすることで、常にシステムの状態・性能・限界を把握することが可能となり、開発効率を高めることにつながる。適応性の実現は最も高度な技術である。そこでまずは適用性を持たないシステムをベータバージョンとして作成すた。試作とテストをくりかえす形式で開発を進めることは、エラーの早期発見につながる。
